We provide a range of high quality advice and guidance support to third sector organisations and the statutory sector. This enables individuals and groups to achieve their potential, share experiences and expertise, overcome barriers and build an integrated and supportive community. We enjoy taking forward theoretical concepts as well as delivering creative and practical solutions that are led by our Associates' experience on the ground and can bring the first-hand skills and hard-won knowledge of frontline practitioners from the development trust movement to the service of clients across all sectors. We specialise in community assets and community enterprise.

Bassac and the Development Trusts Association are merging to form Locality, the nationwide movement of communities ambitious for change.
Our members are multipurpose and community led. They include settlements, development trusts, social action centres and community enterprises.
Locality's members share their experience and knowledge through peer-to-peer networking and mutual support, working together to create and capture local wealth. Their expertise covers: community asset ownership, collaboration, commissioning, social enterprise, community voice and advocacy.

Locality commences formal operation in April 2011.
