and development support
The Pool is a unique resource of practitioner experts managed by Locality. Locality is the leading network of community enterprise specialists, dedicated to helping people set up development trusts and helping existing development trusts learn from each other and work effectively.
Interim & Change Management
Whether you are looking for someone to help your organisation carry out business as usual or whether you need a specific skill-set after a key member of staff has left, we offer experienced and talented interim management options at short notice.
We are particularly strong on senior leadership roles from within the movement helping you manage change from the moment we join your organisation.
Technical Advice
The Pool contains a sub-group of technical specialists connected with asset development - these include lawyers, architects, surveyors, designers and conservation/heritage advisors, as well as high-level thinkers around governance and structure. These advisors can be teamed with our other Associates or can offer stand-alone advice at key points in a project.
We offer an uncompromising quality of advice and support in the holistic regeneration of neighbourhoods and community enterprise. Our special resource is the diverse experience of our associates. Drawn from Locality membership and wider community enterprise practitioners, they have a wealth of grassroots expertise and knowledge in community regeneration, asset development and cultivating local enterprise. We also have a pool of technical experts such as lawyers, architects, planning designers and surveyors etc. who can be teamed with our practitioner experts as well as be made available for one-off advice.
One of our Associates, Paul Davies, has recently been awarded the "Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion" which is presented to 10 individuals each year who have helped to promote enterprise. Paul has been given the award for his coaching work in Clowne, his voluntary running of Clowne Enterprise and it's enterprise networks etc, his chairmanship of LEO (the Bolsover, Ashfield and Mansfield LEGI programme) and his work on the Roseland Renewal energy project.
Our associates know what they're talking about, but they also know how to listen.
Been there, done that,
learnt the lessons,
ready to help.
